Just ANYTHING, and I have NO time 8-9am

Songs I played on show numero uno:
(so the artists can get PAID)

1. "No Diggity" by Blackstreet
2. "Fantasy" by Mariah Carey
3. "Real Love" by Mary J. Blige (live in Los Angeles, sold out tour April 11th, 1998)
4. "Sole Sunday" by Goodie Mob feat. Outkast (from the movie soundtrack to Any Given Sunday)
5. "Are You That Somebody" by Aaliyah (one of my all time favorite singers)
6. "Who You Gonna Call" by Missy Elliot (also from Any Given Sunday soundtrack)
7. "Waterfalls" by TLC (on the radio when I was in 3rd grade, folks)
8. "Delicate" by Damien Rice (from Ireland...amazing song-writer/guitarist)

That last song, I want to dedicate to a good friend, Ned, who passed away in a drinking and driving accident one week before he turned 21 (this was about 2 years ago or so)
Another good friend, Christian, sang that song at his funeral.

Here is the poem I read to close the set, written by me, this summer, while driving through the cemetary that my grandparents rest in (written in a bright lime green 90's moleskine that I bought at Borders earlier this summer):

When I die
(and we all die)
No money to
be spent on me
I'll be gone
Body's just a vessel
Soul trapped
inside
No more eyes
to see me
No more breath
So don't
Breathe on me
Hands don't
work
Don't hold on
to me
I will be
free
So don't hold
On to me.
